A Chicago’s south side native, Tristan Ryshunn Parham is a Producer, Engineer who specializes in classic and modern Hip-Hop productions, as well as recording and mixing audio. Tristan is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Legacy X Productions; a production company that specializes in audio recording, mixing and mastering.
On January 28, 2015 Parham released his first EP as part of an ongoing music project titled “Joe Braxton,” which was inspired by his late father’s record collection. The alter ego, Joe Braxton, was created as part of an ongoing tribute to Parham’s father and the music he loved. The Joe Braxton E.P. is an instrumental soundscape of classic hip-hop sampling and laidback beats, which takes the listener on a journey through each track. Tristan is currently working on a second Joe Braxton EP, and new music catalogue.
In 2016, Tristan became the Lead Audio Engineer at Rescue 1 Studios (Utah) where he recorded, mixed and master numerous films and commercials that have been broadcast in the Western Region of the United States.
Parham graduated with a BA in Studio Arts from Santa Clara University (2007) and later interned as an Audio Engineer at the Music Garage in Chicago (2010). He is currently pursuing a second BA and Master Degree/Certification in Music Production and Technology, at the world-renowned Berklee College of Music.
